As announced earlier, Korea Post has suspended EMS shipments to the U.S. from August 26, 2025 (KST) due to the elimination of the de minimis exemption for low-value imports.

Until further notice, all U.S. orders will be shipped by Malltail (via local agency in Korea) as the default method:

1. Malltail (Default)

• Extra charge: None

• Duty & tax: Fully handled by our agency at no additional cost to you

• Delivery time: Approx. 2–3 weeks from dispatch

• Note:

  • Because of the long Chuseok holidays (Oct 3–9, 2025), deliveries for orders dispatched now are expected around late October to early November.

  • For customers in the western U.S., delivery may take longer than the eastern U.S. due to heavy west-coast customs traffic. In that case, parcels may clear via east-coast 

  • customs and be forwarded by USPS or GOPO Express. Routing may vary depending on local conditions.

2. EMS Premium (Optional, upon request)

• Extra shipping fee: US$10

• Duty & processing charges: Payable by customer before delivery in the U.S.

  • Estimated 15%–25% of the merchandise value (including shipping)

  • Example: Order total US$200 → duty & processing approx. US$30–50

• Delivery time: Faster than Malltail once cleared

• How to request: If you would like EMS Premium instead of Malltail, please email us or leave a message on the Q&A board. We will then guide you through the additional payment process.

⚠️ Please note: Korea Post has also announced that resuming EMS shipments with prepaid duty taxes will be further delayed due to the Chuseok holidays and internal system issues.
